Our meetings can take the form of lectures demonstrations, competitions, and more besides! Lectures and demonstrations are put on by experts from other Camera Clubs, or sometimes by our own members. They aim to show particular types of photography or photographic techniques. The emphasis is on �how to do it�. The range of subjects on our programme covers:
- landscapes
- sports and action photography
- places of interest
- how to mount and present photographs
- special techniques, eg close-up photography
Our competitions have sections for colour slides, colour prints, and black-and white prints. Whatever you take, there will be a competition for you if you would like to enter. Home-processed or trade-processed photographs are all permitted, also photographs printed by means of a computer. The only restriction we impose is that the original pictures must have been taken by the entrant.. |
